The programmes are specifically designed for holders of HND qualifications (or similar UK and international qualifications). The award allows you to gain a full honours degree in one year.

BA (Hons) Business and Management (Top-up Degree)
The programme covers key aspects of business and management practice and theory and emphasises the development of individual and group skills. You can follow a range of pathways to meet your individual interests and career aspirations including marketing, finance, human resources and topical business modules such as the Social Responsibility of Business module.

BA (Hons) International Tourism Management (Top-up Degree)
The international and tourism industry is a dynamic, changing sector and graduates of this course will be equipped with the creative tourism management skills and knowledge to allow them to adapt and be successful in this diverse business environment. Students are encouraged to take a critical and analytical perspective to their understanding of tourism business theory combined with a proactive business development approach throughout.

BA (Hons) Marketing Management (Top-up Degree)
The programme focuses on the latest marketing practices used by successful organisations competing in today’s increasingly complex digital and global markets. Using real-life challenges, students will learn to apply new marketing techniques, knowledge and ‘best practice’ solutions to a wide range of marketing management situations.

Assessments

A variety of assessments include assignments and examinations. The emphasis will be upon developing skills in independent study.

The programme will be delivered via on-line mode.


Duration

Total recommended duration is 15 months and maximum is 27 months.


Entry Requirements

  • Applications are welcomed from students with an HND (Edexcel, ABE, NCC) or Foundation Degree in related areas (or overseas equivalent).
  • If English is not your first language you must provide evidence that you will be able to study at degree level English. You will be required to show that your use of English is equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 550/213.
